Bloody Rose
About Elena

Elena Senchuk is from a little country called Ukraine. In her freshmen year in High School, she discovered the Renaissance Faires through one of her friends. The experience was so much fun to her that she chose to join a guild, participating in the faires every time she could. She is an avid painter and poet. She also enjoys sword fighting and martial arts, as well as reading, specifically about the history of the Renaissance. Elena is also a model, thus is not afraid to act. She is a fun and energetic person and has fun with everyone, matters not young or old.

Not much is known of "Bloody Rose" aside for some things that she told her crew. She once was a courtesan in the beautiful city of Venice. She became one when her father chose to marry her to a man she did not love or want; thus she chose to belong to no man at all, but have them all.  Her friends and those who are close to her call her "Rose" without the formalities of her full name. When the rumors of a plague arrived at Venice, the first thing she did was to escape it and travel the world as a pirate. Through her piracy she became a privateer for Cecilia of Sweden and became a captain of one of her pirate fleets. No matter her background, she is one of Cecilia of Sweden's loyal servants. It was at this time that she changed her name and officially became "Bloody Rose", erasing her real name. She is a female pirate that hides her identity from all that can remember her from the past days as a courtesan with a black mask that had red roses upon it. Even though her face was covered, she continued to be a favorite of the male population, despite the criticism from other women about her manners, free-spirit, and a tendency to wear male breeches.

Her ties with her mother and younger sister have not been severed by the lengths of time she has been away from her homeland.  She continues to write to them and pray for their good health during this time of worry.

Action is Eloquence!
